Moment Lorry Driver Ignores Red Light At Crossing And Is Hit By Freight Train

This is the moment a lorry driver ignores a red light at a crossing and is hit by a train, with the locomotive dragging the HGV off down the tracks and reportedly hitting a house.

The footage, filmed in Rolandia, in the northern part of the Brazilian state of Parana. On Sunday, 18th February, shows the lorry making its way across the train tracks despite the light being red.

But all of a sudden without warning, the freight train, reportedly loaded with soybeans, appears out of nowhere and hits the lorry, dragging it off down the tracks by its trailer.

Other CCTV images show the incident from the other side of the tracks, with a third piece of footage showing the aftermath, with the train derailed and leaning dangerously on its side.
