A country music-loving cowboy is looking for big-time love– by hiring a huge billboard in the hope of finding the right woman.
Robert Siegfried, 43, from Wisconsin State, in the USA, said he was fed up with trying apps like Tinder and Match, and decided to try something different instead.
He told local media: “Go big or go home. I mean you don’t get any bigger than this. I hope people take it seriously.”
And he added: “Don’t be shy, call me.”
The billboard is currently being seen by people in the city of Janesville, and he hopes that it will also direct someone looking for the special person to get in touch.
He added: “I’m just looking for that special someone. I get lonely. Everybody does. I’d like to walk down the sidewalk on a nice sunny day and just hold someone’s hand.”
When speaking about himself, Robert told local media that he loves to laugh, country music, and movies, and he hopes to find someone special.
He said that this act was already proving better than traditional dating apps even though it has been up only for a couple of days.
He said: “You’d be surprised at how many pictures I’m getting. It’s crazy. It’s just like, oh, man, next, next, next, next, next.”
He still has not found the right person, according to local media.
And encouraged by the early response, Robert plans to expand the project’s image on other electronic billboard sites in Janesville soon.
