Boy, 15, Pleads Guilty To Repeatedly Raping Sister After Their Baby Born In Bathroom

A 15-year-old boy has pleaded guilty to repeatedly raping his younger sister after she gave birth in the family bathroom with the help of her mother.

The suspect, who has not been named, appeared before the Jelebu Magistrates’ Court in the tourist hotspot of Negeri Sembilan, in Malaysia, not far from Kuala Lumpur, on Thursday, 23rd February.

He reportedly pleaded guilty to multiple counts of committing incest and raping his 14-year-old sister, who has not been named either, after she gave birth to a baby boy in the family bathroom on Thursday, 16th February.

The teenager was reportedly charged under Section 376B(1) of the Penal Code and could be jailed for anything from 10 to 30 years. He also faces whipping as a punishment.

In one instance, he allegedly raped his sister between 11pm and midnight sometime between 21st and 30th June last year.

In another instance, he allegedly raped her again between 1st and 10th September.

Magistrate Norshazwani allowed for the defendant to be released on bail to the tune of MYR 4,000 (GBP 745) pending a report from the Social Welfare Department on 22nd March.

In the meantime, the defendant, who reportedly did not have any legal representation, will have to report to the nearest police station at the beginning of every month and avoid any contact with the victim.

The case is ongoing.
