Man Stabs Sis-In-Law And Kids On Way To Train Station

This man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing his sister-in-law and her two young children to death in his car after they began arguing as he was dropping them at a train station.

Twenty-two-year-old Nikolay Dubinin was arrested for the murders of his sister-in-law Daria Ignatyuk and her two young children in the village of Pavlovka in the Altai Krai area of southern Russia.

Local media report Ignatyuk had asked her brother-in-law to take her and her children, aged nine and four years old, to the station in his car. Reports state the pair began arguing when Dubinin then allegedly stabbed his sister-in-law to death before allegedly killing her two children.

The victims were reported as missing and a statement from the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reads: “Investigators and policemen, as part of the criminal investigation, carried out daily painstaking work to locate the missing, examined and worked out various versions of the disappearance – from independent departure from the region to criminal.

“Thanks to well-coordinated work, it was possible to establish those involved in the disappearance of the wanted persons. It turned out to be 22-year-old Nikolay Dubinin, the brother of the woman’s husband.”

Dubinin was arrested and allegedly showed the investigators were he had hidden the bodies in the village.

The suspect is currently detained awaiting charges and the length of the preventive measure in the form of detention is yet to be decided.

Local media have speculated that the two were possibly engaged in an extramarital affair but this has not been confirmed.
