The incident took place on Boon Lay Drive in Singapore on 11th May, with both workers reportedly rescued and taken to hospital after sustaining injuries.

The first piece of footage shows rescuers helping one of the men, who appears to be injured and unable to put his weight on his left leg, into the building through a window.

The second piece of footage shows the worker sitting on the ledge with the suspended cradle tilted sideways.

The third video, apparently filmed from another building, shows the worker sitting down after the near-death experience, while the fourth piece of footage shows rescue workers inspecting the cradle.

An unnamed local living in the opposite block told local media that she witnessed the window washers cradle tipping nearly vertically after part of the structure it was attached to at the top of the building gave way.

She said that she also saw concrete blocks falling to the ground in the near-death incident after part of the building’s parapet gave way.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force responded to the scene and rescued one of the workers from the 14th-floor ledge, while the other worker was rescued from a ledge on the 15th floor.

Both workers, who have not been named, were injured in the incident and taken to the Ng Teng Fong General Hospital for treatment.

There have been no further updates on their condition.

The West Coast Town Council (WCTC) reportedly told local media that the cradle’s support system, which had been set up by a contractor on the roof of the building, gave way, causing the gondola to tilt.

The authorities are investigating the incident.
