Drivers Risk Lives To Stop Rolling Off-Road Vehicle From Crashing Down Desert Sand Dune

This is the dramatic moment several drivers rush to the aid of an off-road vehicle rolling out of control down a sand dune to prevent it from crashing.

Nail-biting footage shows the ORV repeatedly rolling over in the desert in Hebei Province, in northern China, after it apparently toppled over from the top of the dune.

It left behind deep marks created by the wheels as it kept rolling on its side towards the bottom, which it was getting closer to by the second and where it was at risk of crashing and potentially killing those onboard.

To prevent a tragedy, several other vehicles accompanying it in the desert made their way towards the falling car and attempted to block it.

One driver even risked their life as they drove straight into the rolling ORV, hoping the impact would force it into a halt.

The ORV then wound up landing with its rear on top of its roof and the two vehicles continued slowly sliding downwards that way.

Meanwhile, other drivers were still making their way towards them as the video cut.

The other drivers’ bold efforts were applauded by netizens on Doiyin, China’s version of TikTok. Ehere footage of the incident emerged on 29th February.

A user titled ‘See which one is inedible’ wrote: “The cars next to it kept crowding the rolling car. Otherwise it would have turned over faster. The one who rushed to catch up steered back slightly and caught it just in time.”

User ‘susun’ commented: “I shed tears for these things. That driver’s so lucky to have such a friendship.”

And ‘Li Yingye’ said: “I want this kind of teammates too.”
