This is the moment a cruel dentist shakes and appears to slam down a young boy with cerebral palsy on a chair at his practice.

The incident was filmed at the unnamed dental clinic located in the city of Aktau in the south-western Kazakh region of Mangystau and was later shared on YouTube.

In the footage, a mother is seen entering the room with two children one of whom has cerebral palsy.

Initially the mother gets into the chair next to her child in order to calm her son down.

Then she decides to get up and leave the room with her younger child.

When the boy is left alone with the dentist and his two assistants, he starts getting nervous and the dentist appears to angrily shake him before slamming him down into the chair.

In another scene, the annoyed dentist grabs an unidentified object and appears to threaten the boy.

After the dentist realises he will not be able to check the patient, he angrily carries him out of the room.

According to local media, as soon as the boy left the dentist’s room he told his mum what had happened.

The mother reported the incident to the police and the dentist has since issued an apology.

The unnamed man said: “It is clear that I was grabbing and shaking the child. I did not beat him up, but I did grab him a lot. I scared him a little bit to make him sit in the chair.”

The dentist explained that the patient had a painful tooth that he was concerned with treating.

He added: “I do not wish bad on anyone, only good. I apologise to the nation, his parents and his relatives.”

Netizen ‘Olesya Ya’ said: “He should be banned from being a dentist as it is so easy for him to lose his cool.”

‘Alyona Vorontsova’ added: “Poor child.”
