Cops Detain Bikers For Superman Daredevil Stunts After Crash Causes Pile-Up

Police in Malaysia have detained a group of bikers for performing Superman-style daredevil stunts on a dual carriageway that went badly wrong when several of them crashed, causing a pile-up.

The footage, reportedly filmed on the East Coast Expressway on the Sultan Ahmad Shah Bridge on Sunday, 24th December. Shows the bikers racing down the road.

A number of them lie flat on their seats with their legs outstretched behind them as they perform the dangerous ‘superman’ stunts.

Two of the bikers then come off their bikes, sliding down the road as their friends try to avoid them.

But the person filming and the biker in front of them then also fall to the ground despite swerving in a desperate bid to avoid hitting them.

The attempt however ultimately failed as they get caught on the crash barrier in the central reservation.

The person filming slides along the tarmac as other bikes shoot by. Apparently being hit by one of them before the footage ends.

Temerloh district police chief ACP Mazlan Hassan told local media that they have made several arrests. Since the footage emerged online and reportedly began to go viral.

He said that four suspects aged 22, 20, 19 and 15 are now in custody after being arrested at their homes.
