This is the moment a deer smashes through a butcher’s shop door and then tries to crash out through a window.

CCTV footage from the store in Moorhead, Minnesota State, USA, shows the young deer’s spectacular entrance through a closed glass door.

It crashes through at such speed that it skids over the sawdust-scattered floor straight into the wall on the other side of the shop.

Then it tries twice to escape through a window before fleeing back through the door it had just smashed.

Newsflash obtained the footage from the She Said Butcher Shop after the bizarre break-in.

The butcher’s shop said in a statement on 7th January: “This was truly an ordeal and I am really not sure who was more scared at the time me or the deer, but it was a pretty terrifying experience overall.

“Other than a smashed door, a hole in the wall and a few broken plants, everything else came out unscathed and I am thankful, because it could have been so much worse, not only with damages, but potentially could have seriously hurt someone.

“I hope that the deer is ok and back telling the story to her friends about the crazy experience she had today escaping the butcher. Wow! What a day.”

The butcher’s shop also joked that they had “the freshest meat in town”.

The deer is not thought to have been seriously injured.
