BRIEF: QUACK ON THEIR FEET: Ducks Leave Tracks On Freshly Cemented Pavement

This footage shows two daredevil ducks ruining a man’s smoothly layered concrete by walking over it and leaving visible footprints after it was freshly cemented.

The images were obtained by Newsflash from Luke Bartley, who makes a living as a concrete contractor – and apparently has to chase away ducks to get his work done.

Luke showed off some of the challenges he faces at his job, by filming himself having to shoo off two careless birds that stick their feet in the cement he had layered and left to dry.

Picture shows the tracks left by the ducks on the freshly cemented road in undated footage. Concrete typically takes 24 to 48 hours to dry enough for you to walk or drive on it. (@ljbartley1989/Newsflash)

And by the time Luke comes in to save the hard work he had done, the ducks have already stepped off and gone along their way – but not before leaving some clear tracks in the damp pavement.
