A 12-year-old boy has reportedly told cops he raped a four-year-old girl three times after becoming aroused by watching pornographic videos on his mobile phone.

The shocking incident occurred when the boy’s mother was reportedly babysitting the four-year-old girl in the municipality of Batu Gajah, in Kinta District in north-western Malaysia’s Perak State.

Local media report the girl had complained of pain in her private parts to her mother after she returned home and the worried mother took her to Tanjung Tualang Clinic.

Local police chief Ahmad Adnan Basri said a doctor found the girl’s hymen and other areas of her privates had been torn and advised the mother to file a complaint with the police.

Police and the victim’s mother then spoke to the babysitter and the boy was taken in for questioning. Local media report he admitted to having raped the girl after watching porn on his mobile phone and becoming aroused on three different occasions.

The exact date of the first time is not known but reports claim the second rape occurred on 3rd May and the most recent on 17th June.

The boy is set to be held until 5th July under remand as the investigation continues, according to police chief Basri.

Local media report his mother had babysat the victim since October 2017 along with several other children aged between two and 11.
