This young model has been found dead on her bed at her home with a gunshot wound to the head, with the police suspecting murder.

Anna Carolina Tadeu Pascuin Nicoletti, 24, was found dead in her apartment in the Wanel Ville neighbourhood in the city of Sorocaba, which is located in the state of Sao Paulo in south-eastern Brazil, on Saturday morning (13th November).

The model, who also worked as a digital influencer and had over 10,000 followers on Instagram, was studying veterinary medicine.

She was living in Sorocaba but originally hailed from the town of Itapeva and grew up in the town of Pilar do Sul in the Sorocaba metropolitan area.

The police said that her boyfriend, who has not been named, found her unresponsive on the bed when he arrived at around 11 am that morning, according to local media outlet Pilar News.

He reportedly also found the apartment door ajar with no signs of forced entry.

He called the police and emergency services, who found the young woman with a bullet wound to the front of her head, which appeared to have been caused by a firearm.

Paramedics pronounced her dead at 11.55 am.

Forensic teams swept the scene and collected evidence including the boyfriend’s mobile phone and security camera footage in a bid to determine what happened and who is responsible.

The authorities have opened a case for homicide. The investigation is currently ongoing.
