This is the moment a panicking woman jumps out of her BMW and is nearly run over after a clueless lorry driver slams into her on a roundabout and pushes her car over 65 feet.

The heart-stopping incident happened at a roundabout on Yongqiang Avenue in the city of Wenzhou in East China’s Zhejiang Province on 20th November.

Security footage from the lorry driven by Mr Weng shows him failing to notice BMW driver Ms Wu as she approaches from the right.

The lorry collides with the BMW, which ends up being pushed sideways through the roundabout, with Mr Weng reportedly unaware of the SUV’s presence.

The video ends with a desperate Ms Wu seen lying on the road after having jumped out the passenger-side door in an apparent bid to save herself.

The bungling lorry driver, who investigators said pushed the BMW over 20 metres (65 feet), later told police he did not notice Ms Wu’s vehicle in his blind spot and thought his wheels were locking up, so he kept driving.

Reports said Ms Wu was found shaken and in distress, but she was not seriously harmed during the incident.

Wenzhou police are still investigating the case.
