Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly signed young French midfielder Enzo Loiodice on loan from Dijon until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old is reportedly leaving the club where he started out, Dijon, in Ligue 1, in favour of the Premier League.

In the meantime, Dijon are expected to extend the France under-20 international’s contract which currently ends on 30th June 2021.

Loiodice is expected to play with the under 23s with Wolves before potentially moving into the first-team squad.

The midfielder has reportedly been loaned to Wolves who reportedly have an option to buy him at the end of loan. The amount the youngster would be available for was not specified.

Loiodice joined the Dijon youth academy in 2015, after a brief stint with FC Gobelins. He first signed a professional contract with Dijon on 3rd July 2018.

He was named in the French squad for the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland in 2019. He was the youngest member of the squad but he started for France in their opening two games against Saudi Arabia (2-0 win) and Panama (2-0 win).

The midfielder was born in France and is of Italian heritage.

Wolves are reportedly still trying to seal a deal for Portuguese attacker Daniel Podence from Olympiacos.
