Reports said that the horse, named Ranchero, survived the car crash and was later reunited with its owner Machito Swing.

Swing reportedly compensated the car owner for the damage to his vehicle.

Meanwhile, a campaign has been launched to raise money for the horse’s veterinary costs.

Netizen ‘Isaias Colon Aponte’ commented: “It’s the irresponsible owner’s fault. I am glad the horse and driver were not badly hurt.”

‘Torres Marta’ said: “It’s good to know the horse is okay and that the driver’s damages will be paid.”

It is currently unclear how the accident took place and an investigation is underway.
