This is the shocking moment a Turkish man assaults a woman speaking with what appears to be an English accent and identified as his girlfriend in the middle of the street.

The incident took place at around 2am on the 24th November in the district of Kusadasi in the western Turkish province of Aydin on the Aegean coast.

As seen in the video footage, the young Turkish man pins the blonde woman to the ground and hits and kicks her while she screams for help.

She then tries to get away from the topless man, who follows her wherever she goes.

The victim screams: “We are done! Go away. You punched me in the face.

He continues to plead with her, saying: “Why, why?”

At the end of the video, the police are seen arriving and preventing the aggressor from harassing the woman further.

Although her nationality was not reported, the clip suggests that the victim is British as she appears to be speaking with an English accent.

The video was filmed by a local resident who was woken up by the loud screams and posted on social media.

The police were called to the scene, but the English-speaking woman reportedly declined to file a formal complaint and her violent boyfriend went free.

It is not believed that he will be further investigated for the incident.
