Teenage Uni Student Went To Cafeteria And Had Head Chopped Off By Cook Who Thought He Was The Antichrist

A first-year uni student who went to use the cafeteria was killed when the cook pulled out a machete and chopped off his head, which he then placed on the lifeless body before shouting that he had killed the “Antichrist”.

The incident took place in the cafeteria at a student residence in the district of Kepez in the Greater Antalya area in south-western Turkey at around 2:30 PM yesterday (7th December).

According to reports, 38-year-old Ihsan Guney shoved 18-year-old Mehmet Sami Tugrul against a wall in the cafeteria at the digs before beheading the young man with a cleaver.

He then reportedly placed both the severed head and the murder weapon on the victim’s slumped torso and shouted: “I’ve killed the Antichrist”.

The victim was a first-year student at Akdeniz University’s Computer Engineering Department.

The suspect had only recently started work as a cook at the private halls of residence, according to reports.

Another student reportedly witnessed the disturbing scene and managed to lock the suspect inside the cafeteria and called the police.

Police officers arrived on the scene and arrested the man before taking him to the Antalya Police Department while investigators began working on the crime scene.

The victim was described in local media as a “quiet” student.

The motive for the crime is currently unknown, and the suspect remains in custody as the investigation continues.
