This is the moment two schoolboys in uniform square up to fight and a third student walks up to one of the lads and knocks him out with a single punch.
The incident took place outside of the students’ school in the municipality of Paraiso in the northern Mexican state of Tabasco and was shared on Facebook where it has been widely circulated.
In the footage, a group of students in school uniform are seen congregated on a dirt track as two boys square up to brawl.
A third boy walks up to the pair and hits one suspecting teenager hard in the face, sending him crashing to the ground.
Dozens of schoolboys walk over the sparked-out teen to help him.
According to local media, the student who punched the victim, who has since fully recovered from the incident, is named Sebastian.
Some online reports initially claimed that the injured boy had died as a result of the blow, but this was quickly corrected by the school via a social media statement.
The school also said that the fight took place outside the grounds, but as the students were wearing uniform there will be action taken against those responsible.
The statement added: “Our school will continue working to reinforce our values and prevent the ugly scenes of the young students in the video. However, we cannot do it alone and we need the support of parents, neighbours and the local authorities.”
It is unclear if any students have been disciplined or suspended as a result of the incident.
