Police in Ukraine are hunting this Mercedes driver after he allegedly hit a young woman so fast he tore off her legs in the dramatic clip seen here.
The incident happened in the Svyatoshinsky district of the Ukrainian capital Kiev where the Mercedes that can clearly be seen speeding strikes the girl on a multilane road so hard that her body literally disintegrated.
Police released video footage of the shocking incident as well as a picture of the man together with an appeal for help in tracking him down over the death.
They said that in the collision, the young woman whose age and name was not revealed, had been killed instantly and that paramedics who arrived a short while later could only confirm her death. Pictures of the scene also show the front of the Mercedes badly damage from the collision.
She had been crossing the road from the nearby campus building, sparking speculation that she was a student.
The man was heading towards the nearby “Akademgorodok” metro station and was travelling so fast, that when he braked after the collision it took several hundred metres before he could stop.
He then climbed out of the car, and after briefly looking backwards to confirm he had hit somebody, he then ran off and is currently being sought for.
Police who released this picture identified the driver as Kulmatov Rakhmonzhon, 40, and have issued an arrest warrant and appealed for help in tracking him down.
