Victim Sebastiano Rosella Musico’s death in 2019 had originally been declared to be from natural causes.

But his 37-year-old wife Loredana Graziano was arrested when one of her lovers told the police she had boasted of killing him.

A second autopsy found that Sebastiano, from Palermo, Sicily, had in fact died from poisoning with cyanide and the anticoagulant Coumadin.

Police wiretaps recorded Graziano raging about her “boring” life and at her husband’s apparent inability to get her pregnant.

Graziano had appealed her original 30-year jail sentence.

But on 25th November the Court of Cassation rejected her appeal and confirmed her sentence behind bars, according to local media.

Astonishingly, Graziano became pregnant by an unnamed lover and was placed under house arrest.

Now despite her appeal failing her jail sentence has been delayed under Italian law until her son is three years old.

Graziano was also ordered to pay EUR 140,000 (GBP 121,500) in compensation to her dead husband’s family.
