REAL FEEL: Beautiful Woman Who Lost Her Arm In Motorcycle Accident Overjoyed After Getting Lifelike Prosthetic Arm

A beautiful young woman who lost her arm in a motorcycle crash has received a GBP 21,000 prosthetic made of silicone that is so lifelike she can even wear a bikini and not stand out.

The new deceptively real prosthetic arm garnished with veins, bright red fingernails and even birthmarks has left Gina Ruehl from the city of Wuppertal, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, over the moon.

The artificial limb, which reportedly costs about EUR 25,000 (GBP 21,400), amazed the 23-year-old student after she found out that she would be able to bend it a little.

Gina, who calls herself ‘the one-armed princess’, said: “The only thing missing is a bracelet. But Christmas will be here soon.”

The influencer reportedly used a carbon-made myoelectric prosthesis ever since she lost her arm in a motorcycle accident three years ago.

She said: “But it’s high maintenance, and can’t sustain water or sand.”

Gina claimed she feared the new arm would bring her back memories of how her real arm used to look like, and said: “I was amazed at how real the arm looks – and was afraid to put it on.

But then she added: “I looked in the mirror and thought, ‘This isn’t me anymore!’ That showed me how much I have now accepted my little arms.”

Specialist Samy Zaraket, 30, from the APO-Silikon medical supply store in the city of Recklinghausen, who built the arm, stated that it took him over a week to finish it.

He explained: “The most difficult thing was replicating the fingers.”

Gina, who named her new prosthesis “Baby arm”, said: “It is especially perfect for the beach and the pool.”
