Pretty Blogger Dies In Bike Smash In Brit Hotspot Bali

This pretty blogger has died aged 32 after suffering head injuries in a motorcycle accident on the holiday island of Bali.

Lifestyle blogger Olesya Satsunkevich, from the city of Krasnodar, in the Krasnodar Krai of southwestern Russia initially received hospital treatment on the Indonesian island of Bali before being transferred to a hospital in the Russian capital Moscow where she died two weeks after the motorbike accident.

The tragic news was announced by the young woman’s distraught parents through her popular Instagram blog that had a following of 21,000 netizens.

According to her parents, doctors in Indonesia tried to operate on Satsunkevich at a local hospital, but her condition worsened and she suffered a brain haemorrhage.

After experiencing difficulties stabilising the young traveller, it was decided to send her to Russia for further treatment.

Doctors in Moscow battled to save the 32-year-old woman’s life, but sadly to no avail and she succumbed to her injuries two weeks after the accident.

The lifestyle blogger, who has been running her page for over three years, moved to Indonesia one year ago and planned to travel India soon, according to one of her last posts.

She also spent her time working as a photographer and online content manager.

Her friend Marusya said: “Before moving to Bali, Olesya said goodbye to me. I thought it was a little unusual as all her friends and family were in Russia.

“She was bright, easygoing, sincere and always optimistic about the future. I will miss her.”
