Romanian influencer Lorena Serban has become the Queen of Instagram after amassing 100 million views in just three weeks, outstripping global stars like Kylie Jenner.
Lorena, who told Newsflash that she is a Zumba instructor and specialist in nutrition and dietetics, has a relatively small follower count of 309,000 on Instagram but has amassed 100 million views in three weeks.
A video of the 22-year-old Romanian influencer dancing on a hill at twilight has received 8.4 million ‘likes’ and nearly 100 million views since being posted on 13th April.
Lorena, who comes from the Romanian city of Brasov, admitted that she used to suffer from anorexia after being verbally bullied by classmates.
However, her recent Instagram activity has seen her view count outstrip ‘influencer royalty’ such as Kylie Jenner, according to the news site Observator.
Lorena told Newsflash: “These days, I am a full-time content creator. I graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy specialising in nutrition and dietetics. I am also a Zumba instructor.
“I never expected that my video (from 13th April) would be such a huge hit at all. I made the clip for TikTok and I thought I’d try it on Instagram, and look where it got to!
“I tried to make it special for everyone and used a predefined filter. I filmed it on a tripod and edited it myself. I posted it online after that.”
The video shows the pretty influencer performing ballet-style dance moves on top of a hill at twilight with cuts of celestial skylines during freeze-frame moments.
