Pakistani Influencer Accidentally Shoots Himself While Filming Fake Suicide TikTok Clip

This is the moment a Pakistani teen influencer kills himself, apparently unaware that the gun he is using is loaded as he tries to shock his friends with a fake suicide stunt for a TikTok video.

The incident was filmed in the district of Swat in the Pakistani province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on 20th May.

The local police confirmed that a 19-year-old man, identified as Hamidullah, who was well-known on social media, died in the incident.

Police spokesperson Badshah Hazrat said: “The young man died on the spot.”

The teen was reportedly pretending to shoot himself with a friend’s gun that he thought was unloaded as pals filmed when he pulled the trigger and accidentally shot himself in the head, according to the news site Al Arabiya.

It is unclear how the confusion over the weapon happened.

The video was not posted on TikTok, where the teen had over 8,000 followers and had posted over 600 video clips, but it was shared among his friends where it then went viral on private networks.

From there it was brought to the attention of authorities started to investigate.

Hazrat said: “This young man was famous on a local level and active on TikTok.”

The video shows the victim putting the gun to his head and apparently shooting himself as friends run over and blood is seen on the ground.

Beforehand, the group were filming themselves playing cricket and describing life in the remote area before the teen decided to prank his friends, according to Al Arabiya.

Last year, two Pakistanis were killed while filming TikTok clips. A security guard died while playing with a firearm in Karachi, and a teenager was killed after being hit by a train in Rawalpindi.
