She said that they have been featuring polar bears all this week, between 1-7 November, for Polar Bear Week.

According to the expert, this time of year the polar bears in the wild migrate to wait for the Hudson Bay to freeze so that they can return to hunting seals.

This week also focuses on the importance of the sea ice to polar bears and how climate change has been threatening the species’ survival.
