This is the moment a girl pushes and kicks her dad in anger after he slams their sick puppy onto the floor at the vets because it costs too much to treat.

The incident took place at a veterinary clinic in the city of Fuyang, in East China’s Anhui Province, on 2nd October.

Footage from the animal clinic shows the vet holding the limp pup in one arm when the father suddenly grabs the dog by its collar and yanks it away from the doctor.

The father slams the sick pooch onto the floor in front of his daughter, leaving the dog lying motionless on the tiles.

The shocked girl tries to push her dad away and then starts kicking him as he stomps on the sick dog twice, the video shows.

The vet, who has not been named in reports, recalled: “The dog was suffering from heart failure. I’d been treating it for four days, and he’d spent about 500 to 600 (56 to 68 GBP).

“On the fifth day, it still wasn’t clear whether it would make it, so I told him not to pay me more yet. I said I’d accept payment if I managed to save the dog.

“But he didn’t understand the condition. He couldn’t understand why it was still sick after being treated for five days.

“I asked him for 300 RMB (34 GBP) for the half a tin of powdered milk I had bought for the dog.

“He refused, so I said he could only take the dog home once he settles his bills.

“He said: ‘Didn’t you say you wouldn’t charge me if the dog dies?’

“He grabbed it and slammed it on the floor, then he stepped on it.

“The last time I saw the dog, it was still alive. It was actually on the mend and had started drinking milk.

“I told him to stop attacking the dog, and that he could take the puppy because I didn’t want the money any more.”

It is unclear whether the dog survived after being taken home.
