Passenger Clings To 200mph Bullet Train As It Leaves Station

This is the bizarre action movie moment when a man clings to the outside of a 200mph bullet train as it pulls out of a station in South Korea.

The footage, recorded at Gwangmyeong Station in Gyeonggi on 15th December, looks like an outtake from a Mission Impossible film as the bearded passenger perches between two carriages.

As he clings to the roof with one hand, a railway worker runs alongside the train yelling: “Get off, get off!”

But bafflingly, the passenger shrugs and replies in English: “I’ve got a ticket. What the f*ck is that?”

But as the KTX bullet train gathers speed he stays put as the footage ends.

Moments later, according to local media, safety chiefs ordered the train to make an emergency stop, and the man got off.

The drama reportedly began when the passenger arrived late for the train just as it was pulling out of the station without him.

He was later allowed to board the same train but was fined for breaching safety rules when he got off in South Jeolla Province, the Korail rail company said.

A Korail spokesperson told local media: “The passenger appeared to have arrived at the train station late.

“But, we can’t wait for every single passenger. What he did was extremely dangerous.”
