Outrage After Youths Use Flooded Grave In Cemetery To Swim In

This footage showing youths using a flooded grave in a cemetery as a swimming pool, diving and jumping into it, has caused outrage after being shared online.

The images were filmed at the Southern General Cemetery in the Venezuelan capital Caracas, recently, and have now gone viral after being shared online, according to local media reports.

The footage shows a first youth doing a somersault dive into the small body of water before his friend jumps from higher up and only just lands in the pool, hitting the water danger close to the side.

The city of Caracas is visible in the background.

The footage has reportedly gone viral in the country after being shared online. With most netizens criticising the youths disrespecting the dead.

Some, however, said that the dead would not mind, while others still said that it was not a grave but rather a pool of water that used to clean the area and to put flowers in.

It is unclear if the authorities are investigating and if the youths face any charges.
