This is the moment a large factory entrance is ripped from its hinges by a strong gust of wind and falls on a worker standing in the wrong place at the wrong time.
The incident took place during a severe storm in the north-western Turkish province of Istanbul last week, and resulted in the worker only suffering minor injuries.
As well as battering the factory, the storm reportedly ripped roofs off houses, uprooted trees, and left many vehicles damaged in the area.
A video from the textile factory in Hadimkoy in the district of Arnavutkoy was shared by Turkish media today (2nd December).
In the CCTV footage, a worker is seen standing in front of the entrance when the entire metal sheet is ripped from its hinges and lands on his head.
A colleague rushes to the worker’s aid and lifts up the large sheet while he scrambles out from underneath.
The two workers then leave the scene as the fallen sheet moves around in the strong wind.
Local media said the hit worker only suffered minor injuries in the incident.
