The bizarre video shows a man’s car freezing entirely after flipping over on a mountain road covered in ice.

Smartphone footage recorded on a mountain road in the city of Ganzhou, in China’s south-eastern province of Jiangxi, depicted the man walking towards the frozen vehicle on 24th February.

The chilling scene portrayed the vehicle, left deserted at the roadside, becoming completely covered in massive chunks of ice after an accident that caused it to overturn.

The video further showed the man heading towards the vehicle’s open rear door and showing the frozen interior.

Chinese media revealed that nobody was injured in the incident. Officials said that the car will be towed from the mountain after the snow melts.

The video triggered many comments after it was shared on China’s version of TikTok, Douyin, later that day.

Douyin user ‘Lingxi’ said: “You could have at least closed the door.”

Then user ‘Kitado’ commented: “Is it possible that the driver has something called a key that can lock the door?”

And ‘Conductor’ added: “Hello, no parking allowed here.”

The clip has reached more than 47,000 likes and over 45,000 shares as of 27th February.
