Woman Ghost Hunter Falls 20 Foot Through New York Bus Station Roof

A New York woman has fallen 20 feet through a roof at a former railway station while ghostbusting with a colleague.

The accident took place at Buffalo Central Terminal in the city of Buffalo in the US state of New York on Saturday night.

According to the local police, the 35-year-old woman, who comes from the village of Kenmore in New York State, was ghost hunting with a man when the accident took place.

Officials said she fell between 15 and 20 feet near the back end of Buffalo Central Terminal.

The police and other emergency service personnel responded to the call at around 10.30pm.

According to the police, the ghost buster was taken to the Erie County Medical Center for multiple injuries. Her male colleague was unhurt in the incident.

The local authorities said the pair has not been charged for any crime for the time being.

Opened in 1929, Buffalo Central Terminal is a 17-story Art Deco former railroad station that was in operation until 1979.

Following years of abandonment, the building is now owned by the non-profit group Central Terminal Restoration Corporation, which aims to restore the complex.
