This 37-year-old man has been arrested for beating an escort he met online with a paving stone after finding out she was transsexual.

The shocking incident occurred after suspect Ertan A., 37, reportedly met Deniz T., 32, on an escort website and invited her to his home in the Osmangazi district of Bursa province in north-western Turkey.

However, when Deniz T. turned up at the suspect’s house, Ertan A. is said to have noticed that she looked different to her photos online.

The escort then reportedly told the suspect she was a transsexual and they then began arguing. 

The argument soon became physical and the suspect is said to have picked up a paving stone and begun beating the escort with it.

Local residents who saw incident reportedly ran to the scene to try and stop Ertan A. from beating the escort with the stone whilst also calling the police.

The residents are said to have become violent with the suspect before the police arrived and arrested him.

Escort Deniz T., who transitioned from a man to woman, was taken to Bursa State Hospital in an ambulance and there are no updates on her condition.

It is unclear if the suspect has been charged and the investigation is ongoing.
