Lorry Driver Fails To Brake And Mangles Car To Pulp Against Other Lorry, Killing Two Beautiful Women

This is the moment a lorry driver fails to brake and completely crushes a Corsa against the back of another lorry – killing the two beautiful women who were in the car.

The incident took place on a stretch of the BR-116 motorway in the municipality of Mafra in the southern Brazilian state of Santa Catarina on the afternoon of Thursday, 30th September.

Footage filmed by a CCTV camera outside what appears to be a garage next to the motorway shows how a lorry fails to brake ahead of a traffic jam.

According to reports, the jam had been caused by a non-fatal accident a kilometre (0.6 mi) ahead.

After failing to brake, the lorry is seen smashing into the Opel Corsa ahead of it, mangling it to a pulp against the back of another lorry.

Two onlookers standing on the garage forecourt are seen turning to face the scene after apparently hearing the crash.

The men look visibly shocked and one clasps his head with his hand before they both walk over to the scene of the accident.

Friends Erica Collaco, 32, and Karina Souza, 26, were travelling in the Corsa to the town of Massaranduba at the time, and both were instantly killed in the collision.

Both women, who lived in the town of Canoinhas, each leave behind two children.
