This is the nerve-wracking moment a man clings to a driving bus after apparently spotting his girlfriend with another man.

Footage obtained by CEN shows how the man, not named by local media in Barranquilla in Colombia’s Atlantico Department, takes off his helmet and places it next to his parked motorcycle to follow the moving bus on foot.

Horrified passengers start to scream as the young man, who wears a T-shirt, denim cutoffs and sneakers, grabs the small open slide window on the right side of the public service bus.

Some of the commuters reportedly urged the furious man to let go before the bus continued to accelerate, while others controversially encouraged the driver to go faster, local media reported on 23rd February.

After failing to open the window further, the enraged stowaway points towards one of the passengers.

He reportedly was convinced that his girlfriend was cheating on him with the person he made out in the crowd of the packed bus.

Astonishingly, the motorcyclist then manages to lift his right leg and his upper body through the narrow window.

He continues his threats directed at the alleged lover of his girlfriend who cannot be seen in the clip.

After another man suddenly punches several times against the window, the infuriated biker retreats to hanging on to the outside of the open window but continues to address the supposed lover of his girlfriend as the footage ends.

Despite the commotion and the increasing screams of several passengers, the driver fails to slow down or stop throughout the altercation, filmed by one of the people on board.

The bus went at around 25 miles per hour, according to local media.

It is unclear whether the motorcyclist’s girlfriend was actually on the bus too.

There is no information on a possible police investigation for a violation of traffic rules.
