Passengers watching the incident unfold can be heard screaming in fear as the vehicle veers to one side, with the pensioner finally stopped by a male passenger who pushes him to the floor.

The bus driver, who has not been named, then calls the police.

Local authorities say neither the driver not any of his passengers was injured during the incident on 14th May.

Zhang allegedly attacked the driver after he drove off before he could get off the bus.

An alternative CCTV angle shows the pensioner walking to the back doors and preparing to exit when the vehicle begins moving again, leaving the senior citizen shouting and stomping his feet.

The police said he had failed to get off in time and was arrested on public order charges for choking the driver and causing him to lose control of the bus.
