Firefighters Battled A Massive Structure Fire Of A Church

This is the moment firefighters can be seen spraying water onto a church that is fully engulfed in heavy flames.

The fire started at the Calvary Baptist Church located on the corner of Peninsula Drive and Earl Street on the beachside in Daytona Beach yesterday ( 17 June).

During the wildfire, the roof completely collapsed. As long as emergency crews worked to put out the blaze all streets in the nearby area were closed as the building was in danger of crashing.

According to one contractor, this church was already scheduled to be demolished and the power of the building had been disconnected for some time so the theory of a short circuit cannot be applied.

The Daytona Beach Fire Department, along with the Holly Hill Fire Department and Ormond Beach Fire Department crews were working at the spot to get control of the fire.

Firefighters remained some more time on the scene after to make sure the fire did not start again.

A bulldozer responded to the burned church address to demolish the dangerous building shortly after the authorities managed to put down the fire.

No firemen or bystanders were injured during the fire battle. The investigation is ongoing.
