Dad Becomes Clown To Fund Disabled Daughters Treatment

This cash-strapped dad has been wearing clown’s clothes to sell balloons so that he can afford cerebral palsy treatment for his adorable daughter, also pictured.

Loving dad Tu Xiancheng from the city of Zhengzhou in the eastern Chinese province of Henan told sceptical loved ones, who claimed that his little girl is a ‘lost cause’, that “as long as I’m alive I will never give up on our daughter”.

The poor tot tumbled out of bed last October and was later diagnosed with brain haemorrhage and cerebral palsy which caused paralysis and blindness, according to local media.

The two-year-old needs long-term treatment and rehabilitation which is proving costly for her brave parents.

According to local media, they have forked out a staggering 200,000 RMB (22,765 GBP) on medical costs in the last five months.

It is said to be costing the parents 500 RMB (57 GBP) a day which is expected to rise to 1,000 RMB (114 GBP).

Reports said that a back injury prevents Tu from carrying out manual work and that is why he decided to sell balloons on the street while dressed as a clown.

In April last year, a loving dad dressed up as Peppa Pig to help fund the treatment for his diabetic daughter.
