This is the moment a cruel mother drags her crying toddler along the ground and throws a shoe at him before repeatedly beating him as she threatens to put him “in a coma”.
Local residents in the town of Tolosa in the La Plata Partido, in the eastern Argentina province of Buenos Aires, shared the video of the cruel mother beating her young son in her back garden.
In the video, the mother can be seen slapping her son before dragging him along the ground and saying: “Do you like being beaten? I am going to drag you all around the ground and I am going to make you a man, son of a b*tch, sit down and stay there.”
She appears to throw a shoe at him before putting him in a chair. However, the cruel mother then begins beating the tot again, repeatedly slapping him and saying: “I cannot stand you anymore, I am going to send you to coma, son of the bitch, I cannot stand you anymore”.
A witness recorded the incident and the video was published on social networks, causing outrage. The sister-in-law of the woman in the video reportedly saw the video and reported the case to the police.
Judge Alejandro Lagos is in charge of the investigation and asked for the intervention of the Direction of Childhood and Adolescence in the municipality of La Plata.
According to local media, the woman was identified as Sofia Romero, 23.
The authorities reportedly went to the house and took the toddler who will be taken to a shelter in La Plata.
It is unclear if the mother has been arrested.
