This is the shocking moment a 42-year-old woman is shot allegedly by an ex-boyfriend 20 years her senior in a busy bakery.
The incident was filmed in the La Poro bakery in the city of Ingeniero Budge in the Partido of Lomas de Zamora located in the eastern Argentine province of Buenos Aires.
The video shows the victim, identified as 42-year-old Maria Teresa Acosta, entering a bakery to avoid a grey-haired man named Alfredo Falcon.
The suspect, who is 20 years her senior, has been jealous ever since their relationship ended a year ago, according to reports.
In the second clip, the elderly man is seen chasing Acosta inside the bakery before cornering her at the far end of the room before apparently shooting her in the abdomen.
According to reports, the victim survived the attack, but she is currently fighting for her life in a serious condition in hospital.
The bakery owner told local media: “It was a horrific moment. When we saw the woman coming inside, we knew she was seeking refuge from something.
“He then followed behind her. She only said to him ‘you are crazy’ while trying to look for a way out of the shop. That is when the man cornered her and shot her.”
Reports said Falcon managed to flee the scene and has not yet been arrested.
The investigation is ongoing.
