Pic Shows: The mother and her baby hit by a bus while crossing the street; This is the horrific moment a mother with her baby in her arms is hit by a bus on a zebra crossing and they survive. Incredibly, the pair survived the incident which was caught on CCTV security camera in the Peruvian capital city of Lima. The footage shows pedestrians waiting for the lights to change before crossing the zebra crossing at a busy junction. But the woman, whose name has not been released but who is said to be in her 30s, walks out with her baby in her arms. She steps right in front of a bus which is travelling at speed and the driver has no chance of avoiding her. But fortunately for the woman, the vehicle knocks her sideways, out of its path, and they do not go under its wheels. She and her baby were knocked flying and smartphone footage shot by an eyewitness shows her lying on the ground with her face covered in blood. The woman and her baby were rushed by ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment to their injuries. Doctors at the hospital say both out of danger and describe their condition as stable. There is no report of whether police are investigating the incident. The footage has sparked a lively debate after it was posted on social media and video-sharing platforms. Netizen ‘Ronald Yaya Luyo’ said: "It's the woman’s fault, at least there's a video, otherwise they would have blamed the bus driver." And ‘Hayde Tumbalobos Monzon’ agreed: "It happened because she didn’t respect the traffic lights."
