This is the shocking moment three laughing teens violently throw a black puppy into a bucket of water before placing it in the washing machine and laughing as the poor pooch spins around.

The incident was filmed in the city of Bejuma in the northern Venezuelan state of Carabobo and shared on Twitter where the video has been seen 125,000 times.

Reports said that after the footage was widely shared online, the local authorities acted quickly to arrest the three suspects, aged 12, 13 and 17.

The trio, whose names were not reported, are expected to be presented before prosecutor Douglas Rico soon, according to local media.

Meanwhile, the poor puppy has reportedly been rescued by the authorities and is said to be in a healthy condition.

Netizens slammed the young thugs for their “cruel” prank. ‘ResisTemplario’ commented: “These little insects are psychopaths! They will probably end up killing people later in life.”

‘IsauraVenezuela’ said: “Thank God they have been arrested. They should also be checked by psychiatrics, their behaviour is not normal!”

‘Dolorescanal’ wrote: “It breaks my heart that there are so many cruel people, especially young teenagers. What does the future hold for Venezuela if kids act like this?”
