This is the moment an angry dad throws his young daughter into the back of a police pickup truck because he was furious that they had been called to investigate a violent row he was having with his wife.

The incident was captured on the dashcam of a passing car as the group of police officers prepared to place the alleged wife beater, surnamed Chen, into custody on 15th September.

The video shows Chen, 29, holding his four-year-old daughter’s hand as the pair walks towards arresting officers with the Dinghu Branch of the Zhaoqing Public Security Bureau in South China’s Guangdong Province.

In a statement issued the following day, the authorities said they had received a call from Chen’s ex-wife, Ms Li, claiming that she had been struck by her ex-partner.

As they summoned Chen and prepared to take him into custody for questioning, he showed up with his child and threw the girl onto the back of the pickup truck, the police said.

In the video, the little girl is seen flying out of her father’s arms as she lands in the vehicle’s metal cargo box in front of the cops.

The police said Chen was immediately restrained and taken back for questioning, during which he admitted to attacking his ex-wife.

Chen remains in custody.

The authorities said his daughter was not seriously harmed.
