This is the moment an angry female driver gets out of her car and breaks another motorist’s wing mirror with a hammer because the male driver was driving too slowly.

The incident took place in the street Rosales, in the Partido of San Martin, in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires, after 55-year-old Federico slowed down because of a pothole in the road.

He says that as he slowed down a female driver then overtook him at high speed and hit his car.

He asked for her name and details so he could send the information to his insurance company. In the video, the female driver, who has not been named, can be seen getting out of her white 4WD holding a hammer and she marches straight towards Federico.

She hits the wing mirror with the hammer and says: “What’s up with you taking photos? If you drive at 20 kph I’ll go 40 kph and overtake you accordingly, son of a b*tch.”

She then storms away and hits Federico’s bonnet for good measure and he told reporters: “I thought she was going to kill me, that woman should be jailed. If I did not move, she would hit my car again. She was out of control.”

Hector Coffman, the victim’s lawyer, told local media that they have filed a report against the woman with the police “for damages and threats”.

The lawyer said: “It was a very traumatic event. We had to convince him to report it because this kind of behaviour should not be forgotten”.

It is not mentioned if the authorities are investigating the case or if the woman has been arrested.
