This is the moment a passenger on a motorbike climbs over his girlfriend as she drives the vehicle without stopping as the two swap seats seamlessly before he pulls a wheelie.

The startling scenes were recorded in the Atasehir district located in the Asian side of Turkey’s most populous city Istanbul and the pair have been slammed for their stunt online after the clip was posted to social media.

In the video, a female biker, who has not been named but is reportedly the girlfriend of her male passenger, can be seen riding down a main road.

The passenger then leans forward and grabs the handlebars before stepping over his girlfriend as she ducks down and moves backwards, with the pair quickly switching positions.

The biker then celebrated their stunt by pulling a wheelie for around 20 seconds.

A social media user believed to be the biker shared the video online media where the pair received criticism from other netizens for the stunt.

One unnamed user wrote: “They are risking the lives of others, they could kill innocent people in traffic.”

And ‘Abdullah Ibrahimoglu’ wrote: “He is risking the life of his girlfriend too.” 

While ‘VLCN’ added: “The authorities should spot those riders and take their driving licenses forever. If somebody wants to ride dangerously they should do it in areas closed for traffic.”

It is unclear if an investigation has been launched.
