This is the moment a four-wheel-drive vehicle shooting along at speed on a beach in Kuwait flips over and sends its driver flying out of the car and into the water.

The man then emerges from the water, seemíngly almost uninjured, and makes his way to dry land where he is checked by his friends who rush over.

The incident took place on Abu Al-Hasaniya beach, in the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate, on 31st March.

The video shows the four-wheel-drive vehicle shooting along the beach in the surf before its back wheels suddenly begin skidding and it fishtails out of control, flipping over and sending its driver flying out the window.

He hits the sea with a splash as the car comes to rest on its side in the shallow water.

The man makes his way up the beach with a slight limp before his friends come over to check on him as the footage ends.

Local media said that the fire department was called to the scene and removed the vehicle from the water.

The authorities are also working to seize the vehicle from its owner, according to reports.

Local reports said that no one injured in the incident.
