This is the moment a female cabbie has the fright of her life when a giant 3-tonne industrial machine falls off the back of a lorry and lands right on top of her car.

The moment the woman reportedly was captured on her dashcam at just after 2am local time on 7th September.

The video from Shenyang, capital of Liaoning Province in north-eastern China, shows the cabby pulling up to the lights at the junction of North Shuncheng Road and Dabei Street.

The heavy goods vehicle hauling the industrial machining tool weighing more than 3 tonnes stops to her left, but the giant cargo begins tipping over before the lorry has fully braked.

The cabby shouts in shock as the machine lands on top of her bonnet, crushing the metal and breaking her windscreen too.

The lucky taxi driver, who had no passengers onboard at the time, was fortunately not injured and managed to climb out by herself, reports said.

Witnesses said the heavy machining tool had tipped over because the lorry driver braked too violently at the lights, but also because the cargo had allegedly not been properly tied down.

The woman driver was later taken home by her family members, while the machining tool was lifted back onto the heavy goods vehicle by a mobile crane.

According to reports, the lorry driver and the taxi driver are in talks over compensation, but it is unclear whether the heavy goods vehicle owner will be fined by the police.

Social media user ‘Xin Weini Dicheng Hupo’ commented on the woman’s lucky escape: “This cabbie must’ve saved the galaxy in her past life or something.”
