This is the moment a wealthy man spots two bikers about to mug him and quickly gets into his flash car and knocks into one of them, causing him to skid down the asphalt road on his belly.

The incident took place in the upmarket neighbourhood of Los Cristales in the western Colombian city of Cali – notorious for its high crime rate – on the morning of Monday, 2nd August.

CCTV footage shows the moment two motorcyclists turn up on the wealthy man’s driveway – apparently to rob him.

However, the quick-witted man gets into his high-end car and immediately starts pursuing one of the men.

He is seen bumping into the biker from behind with his vehicle, causing the biker to fall off his motorbike and skid down the asphalt road on his belly. The driver then continues down the road.

The would-be mugger is then seen getting up – apparently without injuries – and he gets back onto his motorbike and he and his alleged accomplice ride away.
