The images show the unexploded rocket, which Russian media said had been fired from a Ukrainian multiple launch rocket system, embedded in the woman’s armchair after reportedly hitting the roof of her property.

The owner of the apartment in Kirovogradskaya Street, in the Petrovsky District of the city, was named in Russian media reports on 29th April as Svetlana Anatolyevna.

She reportedly said: “I was scared, it was really bad, it was not just the missile that went through the roof, my blood pressure did as well and it’s still bad. I’ve never seen anything like that anywhere. “

The pro-Russian, so-called Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Representative’s Office, claimed that over the previous 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces had fired at Donetsk 14 times, firing 43 units of various ammunition.

The DPR statement also claimed that one civilian was injured and one killed, and that two residential buildings and two civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged.

We have not been able to independently verify the claims or the images.
