This Taiwanese woman has lost 33lb in weight after only eating McDonald’s food items three times a day because a colleague suggested she had chunky legs.
The unnamed woman, who works at a McDonald’s store in an unspecified location in Taiwan, reportedly lost 15 kilogrammes (33lb) by only eating fast food items.
She said on social media that she decided to lose weight after overhearing a colleague mentioning that her legs looked chunky in a skirt.
She wrote: “I heard a colleague say that my legs were too big and yet I dared to wear a skirt, but because of you I am the person I am now. Without you, I may still be over 70 kilogrammes (154lb).
“I work at McDonald’s and eat it three times a day. I don’t touch French fries, fried chicken skin, apple pies, burger buns or sugary drinks. I only eat the burger meat, lettuce, eggs, crispy chicken wings, non-sugary drinks and peeled fried chicken.”
She added that she only drank sugar-free green tea, sugar-free black tea and Coke Zero when she craved a sweet treat while managing to keep to water the rest of the time.
Within a month, the Taiwanese McDonald’s worker said she saw her dress size go from an M to an S.
Accompanying her unusual diet with exercise, the young woman added: “I would run 10 laps at least three or four times a week. I would also go to the gym sometimes. When I saw that I was not wasting my time, I really wanted to cry. My hard work was well worth it.”
She also encouraged others to not be stingy when it comes to filling their plates, commenting: “Please don’t go on a diet. If you choose not to eat and lose weight, you may never eat again.
“There are so many delicious things in the world, if you don’t eat it, it would be such a waste.”
