This is the moment a woman driver reverses into a 79-year-old pedestrian and continues rolling over her body until a passerby finally informs her that an OAP is under her car.
The incident was filmed in the town of Apatity in the north-western Russian region of Murmansk Oblast and was posted on social media where it has been widely circulated.
According to local media, the unnamed 33-year-old motorist is being investigated while the elderly victim was admitted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
In the CCTV footage, the 79-year-old pedestrian is seen walking in the middle of the road as a car reverses behind her.
Apparently without checking her mirrors, the reversing woman driver knocks the OAP down and her car pushes the victim along the ground.
The motorist pauses briefly, before putting her foot down again and rolling over the pensioner’s body.
Meanwhile, a frantic onlooker runs over to the driver’s window to apparently inform her that an OAP is under her chassis.
The motorist jumps out of her seat to check under the car as several other passersby come over to assist her.
There have been no further updates on the hospitalised victim’s condition as the police investigation continues.
